Room 311, Thursday Afternoon

After getting back from her sixth portal connection (through the Oregon Trail, and sweet niblets was she never doing that again), Miley was, well... Miley was stomping around the room and dumping her stuff everywhere.

And... sort of muttering to herself.

"Can't go to college," she grumbled. "Just because I was selling out stadiums and meeting the Queen of England instead of holding a spit bucket for the girls' wrestling team! Stupid Standford."

And with that, she flopped onto the bed to mope.

She was just a bundle of sunshine today, wasn't she? Visit with peril.

Juliet took a moment to savor being the one with the good idea. It was rare for her.

"Well," she began, "You'd tell the truth. About stuff she does, and places you went, and .... everything. And how you really didn't have time to join a bunch of clubs. But you just leave out how she's actually you."

Brilliant plan, no?

"It's not like you'd actually be lying. Much."

Miley sprung up. "You're right!" she exclaimed. "That's genius!"

Yes, yes it was.

"You," she declared, pointing at Juliet, "are brilliant. Rain check on the ice cream, okay?"

And then she raced out of the room like... well, like a hyperactive Disney girl.

"Miley, wait --"

She was gone before Juliet could properly squee over it. Juliet sighed, picked herself up, and left the room.

"It's okay," she told the air. "I'll make Jerms get ice cream with me."
